Simon Terry is a recognised industry leader in digital health and healthcare claim payments through his work with HICAPS, Claiming.com.au, and LanternPay. Simon has grown businesses, managed relationships and developed new industry solutions with a wide range of industry players from Private Health Insurers, Government, Practice Management Systems, Providers and other industry partners.
At LanternPay, the business launched the first new Private Health Insurance claiming solution in 20 years, in addition to delivering providers new claiming solutions for TAC and WorkSafe Victoria. LanternPay was also a leader in provider solutions in the disability sector making access to the NDIS easier and more efficient. LanternPay was acquired by NAB in 2022 and Simon returned to HICAPS as CEO to lead the integration of the business until 2024.
Simon was also an advisor on strategy and business development to Claiming.com.au which was the first claiming platform to offer the full suite of Medicare webservices claiming to providers and practice management partners. Claiming.com.au was acquired by LanternPay in 2021.
Simon has also been a facilitator for industry innovation discussion series and workshops for the Australian Institute of Digital Health and other partners.
Simon is also an advisor to St John of God Healthcare on digital health and technology transformation through its board data and technology committee.
